     When he was six, Mick cried and begged his parents to give him piano lessons. When he was seven he cried and begged his parents to let him stop piano lessons. But that didn’t mean he had lost his love of music. 

At age 10, he got his first real six string. And he played it a lot, until he was 15. He had always wanted to play bass and a band made up of a bunch of brothers, Chameleon, gave him the opportunity. The bassist wanted to switch to guitar (more chicks), leaving the opening for the bass. Mick jumped at the chance and never gave it up. 

     After attending art school he immediately joined a band that eventually became known as Penatrator. For four years they played 6 nights a week, 4 hours a night. But Mick realized he wanted to be a dad, so he quit the band, got married and had kids. 

     Years later, he was ready to get back to gigging and joined H28. That’s where he met Keith, then the rest of the band, and eventually began subbing on bass with Night Moves. Times change, things happen and he finally realized that he belonged as a full-time member of the band. As the rookie, Mick is still getting a lot of crap from his bandmates, but loving his return to the local music scene and is forever grateful for the opportunity.
